Selenite is a transparent to pearly variety of gypsum and is exceptionally soft and moisture-sensitive. Traditionally associated with purification, peace and spiritual connection, it is often used in meditation spaces or alongside other crystals. Selenite may encourage mental clarity and a calm atmosphere, but it should be kept dry and protected from scratching.
